Please dont lose hope Realben.. once VO start phoning and asking additional info's to your employer meaning its will just take few days to wait. Everyone of us has the same frustration everyday.. keep the faith.. in right day and time you will be surprised.

Heres the hope and good news!! Got my LMIA approval today, Painful waiting is over.. heres my timeline
JUL 29 2014 - LMIA application submitted
SEPT 2 - Refused due to advertisement requirements and new application form has to use.
OCT 2 - New application submitted with new rules. new forms and new fees
Oct 9- CIC recieved and File number
JAN 23, 2015 - APPROVED

I am still working under implied status as my work permit on process (with only LMIA file number) I need to call CIC for this LMIA approval today so they can start processing mt work permit application. Thank God I didnt needed to go through restoration.

Checked myCIC account online about my work permit application status, I got Positive LMIA this morning and phoned CIC to update my work permit application.. just now before business ends, got my WORK PERMIT approved too. Thank God.

To all those still praying, I wish you all the best as well.. and hopefully it will leads to permanent residency in the future. Good Luck everyone :-* :-*

That's what I thought too. Service Canada started to ask my employer for additional information 3weeks ago. I thought it would take a few days but I'm still waiting...
In the meantime, one of my colleagues got his LMIA.

hey @kjg09 its the call centre that showed in MYCIC 18882422100.. CIC may only send you 2 updates (Application recieved/Payment Reciept AND/OR status update to OPEN/CLOSED - APPROVED) .. I applied online for work permt 2weeks before my status ends.

You will recieve an email first from them to tell you that you have an update on your CIC account

Thanks Fastfood.. I already Got my Work permit approval same day my LMIA released.. Am just waiting for it to recieve on my Mailbox (inside CAnada application)
