And on the other side US is giving status for people who have been living as illegal immigrants.
What I understand is this is just a political gimmick nothing more !!! Same as in India, where they issue legal citizenship and buy the votes. Why was this program active until today and all of sudden active when the election are approaching? This is to safeguard yourself's future and countries !!!

Hi Prashant and all my friends any Idea how long does it take in Ontario, for getting your name endorsed by the company on LMIA from Service Canada. What I mean is they have received the LMIA from CIC and now they will be applying next week to Service Canada to endorse my name. ( I heard its 10 working days, but what's the fact, how many days are they actively taking? )

I agree.. if they think canadians and PR here can do all the jobs then stop accepting applications, for thousands of people applying and paying fortune amount of fees whole world to Canada this must be a giant business. people whose applying inside canada are good tax payers, working hard their ass to just pay taxes while they want to give the jobs to those "Tax Free" individual here with monthly government check allowance but yet lazy to work. thats my rant for today lol

What I understand is the Government is not bothered about the immigration, or their people or instead in people around the world, all they are worried is the amount of application money you pay.

Their are rules and timeline for every things in this world accept these people.
1) Does pay your mortgage on stipulated date - you are kicked out :(
2) You don't pay your taxes on time - you are penalised heavily the very next day of the deadline.
3) You don't pay Credit card & other Bill's before due date - Same you are penalised ?
4) You'r visa expires the next day you are illegal immigrant and more likely to get precuted !!!

But when it come to your application process No set and feasible Rules, No deadlines, No arguments, No one can complaint.

If you lose money & future and career NOT OUR PROBLEM ;) ;) ;) !!! WE GOT YOUR MONEY ;D ;D ;D...

Why do you lose money? I'm waiting for LMIA since June and I didn't spend a dollar on this process. It's employer who pays LMIA fee.
I agree that process is looking like a black box, with same input for everyone and (for some reason) different output and different processing time.

No deadline for the process is nonsense.

Hi Kate, I dont see this occupation in the SINP Designated trades. For more information please refer to http://www.saskapprenticeship.ca/designated-trades/

I believe SINP is a very good choice if you have a job offer. The good thing about SINP is that chances to get work permit is high with the support letter from SINP. This is a fast way to get PR.
Thank you so much fast food I will have good read tonight , thanking you

Hello, I have just found out that skin care technician is on the sinp list, I am a qualified beauty therapist; does this mean I can apply. I have run my own beauty salon for the past two years, will this be ok or does proof need to show employment, not self employment.

Also do I need job offer in sk for sinp??

Thanks

Hi Friends please reply

I have been offered a Job opportunity in Toronto based company in the month of March 2014, from then onwards the roller coaster ride has started. They said they have applied for the LMIA, which was then called LMO, then June onwards they started saying its now called LMIA and rules have changed. After several follow ups today they say since the rules have changed my procedure got delayed also most important thing they say according to the new procedure of LMIA

"The company applies for LMIA to Service Canada, Service Canada then approves LMIA and sends back to Company, then Company approves my Name and again with all the documents submits it to Service Canada, and then Service Canada again issues the LMIA in my name"

I need to understand is this the real change in procedure?
Exactly when did they receive your application? This coming Monday mine will be 24 weeks and counting(June 2).

Its 10th week for me n no news yet.employer calls SC n they said its yet to be assessed. The project starts 1st December n the employer indicated they might not be able to wait any further. I've literally given up now. Life's so bloddy unfair. Wish the Sc agents would find time to read through our posts :'(
Don't give up just yet. I've had 2 rejected TWPs due to an overstay, my previous LMO expired before I was able to take the IELTS exam. Now my only option is for permanent residency as "you don't satisfy me that you will leave the country after authorized stay" won't be an option for rejecting. Now I'm waiting for my LMIA(still LMO when I applied) in order to apply for FSTP.

Unfortunately, you do require a job offer to apply for this position and also you need to show at least 1 year employment experience. Self-employment is not considered in this case.

If she issue a letter that should be enough to satisfy immigration. You need a job offer though from Saskatchewan employer!

SINP is going to update on 1st Jan. But I do not think there should be something bad for applicants. Rather they will have more number of quota available. So Basically you can apply under EE or SINP. Both options should be available to you I guess.
