Application filed on 22nd September. Running into 10th week but still no progress here in Montreal Canada. I was assuming since i applied internally things would be fast however to my surprise they're terribly slow :(
Since only employers can apply, all applications are internal. My application was sent in two days after yours and the wait continues.

Very sorry to hear about you bro. Are you inside Canada now or applying from some other country ? Try to look for some other option. If inside country at least apply for tourist visa while wait for another LMIA. It really sucks.. Worried about myself now.

I'm really sorry to hear that. I know how you feel, when I lived in Ontario I was waiting for results 3.5 months, and got the same decision as you :( But try to be optimistic, something will pop up! :)

Where in Alberta do you live? How did you receive your rejection letter, by fax, email, or post?

Hang on!

Thanks for the reply pdhillon.
Do you maybe know what kind of questions did they ask your employer in that call?

Hi Friends please reply

I have been offered a Job opportunity in Toronto based company in the month of March 2014, from then onwards the roller coaster ride has started. They said they have applied for the LMIA, which was then called LMO, then June onwards they started saying its now called LMIA and rules have changed. After several follow ups today they say since the rules have changed my procedure got delayed also most important thing they say according to the new procedure of LMIA

"The company applies for LMIA to Service Canada, Service Canada then approves LMIA and sends back to Company, then Company approves my Name and again with all the documents submits it to Service Canada, and then Service Canada again issues the LMIA in my name"

I need to understand is this the real change in procedure?

They asked general questions regarding interviews conducted, advertisement, wage offered, current workers at job location, mode of transportation. But overall conversation lasted for nearly half an hour.

Hey dude, you may actually restore your status to visitor or stay somehow till January and then keep an eye on the Express entry. May be thats the only other option than new LMIA. I am in the same situation, my restoration period is only till Dec 23. So i have to get this lmia or extend as visitor and see what express entry has to offer. Just giving my ielts and being ready

They inquired about each and every candidate who was interviewed and reason for each why they were not hired.
