LMIA application processing time?

Has anyone you know got approved work permit with LMIA file number only? I see many cases but all of them are rejections.

I can suggest you to apply for the work permit PR application through paper application[120 days]. Doing that, we can buy sometime (meanwhile LMIA will have some positive answers)

Hi aeree,
With system file number alone doesn't help in getting your work permit. You have to link your WP application online and submit the approved document then only your WP get approved otherwise the officer will not be knowing about ur LIMA is approved or not. Hope u understand...

prevailing wage is 38.50$ but what they are offering is 33.50$ and 5$ less than prevailing wage

Hi Avis,
I knew, you have been asked few times about your query and some one responded saying that it is completely depends on the officer and your employer well establishment because is ur wage is not within the prevailing wage. I would say stay positive and will hear a good news.

Depends on it officer but technically speaking you don't meet the requirements......

It looks the result usually comes out within a week. but in my case, no any updates after the phone interview.
Can I ask my boss to call SC to check the status? Will it affect the application?

By this time they would have taken the decision and it would be within a week. Please ask your employer to call SC to get any updates.

Extra stuff required 20 Oct, actually got asked for twice, once in Sep :-[
Interview called on 2 Feb
Decisions made 6 Feb, received an positive confirmation email from serviceontario
Still waiting for the paperwork mail
Noc 7231 payrate is 23.75, my payrate now is 23, the lady on the phone said she didn't really concern anything because it was so close, she said if I'm getting paid 15 then it's a problem
Didn't use any agency, the accountant in the company finished all the stuff for me, saved lots of money ;D
ULTRA SUPER VERY long waiting time, finally got a good result
