Hello Guys,

My employer applied for LMIA on December 16th 2016. They did not receive any file number till now but received a call from service Canada Yesterday. My Employer was in an important meeting and missed the call. Service Canada left a voice mail with name and number.

But today when they tried to reach the person, she did not pick my employer's call and so my employer left a voice mail.

Should my employer wait for a call or should they call tomorrow again??

AM too nervous.

Thank You

Hello All,

Please help me on the above query. My employer left 3 voice mails but Service Canada has not called back.

What should my employer do now? Please help

Thank YOU

Its now purely depends the voice mail what they left. What was the voicemail? So that we will have some clue what will be next depends on the message received by ur employer.

It was just that the call is from Service Canada and she needs to talk to the LMIA Contact Person. Her name and Phone number.

Nothing in detail.

Thank You for you reply

I think, your employer might have provided the details in reply voicemail and satisfied with his voicemail. You will be good and stay positive.

Yeah My employer contacted them the same day and left a voicemail saying he will call them the next day around 10 AM. My employer contacted service canada sharp at 10 AM and no answer so left another voicemail and waited for a call back.

Then again my employer called on thursday (that is yesterday) around 11:30 AM no answer and he left a voicemail with his personal contact number.

Am just worried now. I do not want to bug my employer to keep calling SErvice canada which will look like chasing. So am just waiting for a call from Them.

Hope everything goes well.

Thank You

I don't think NOC is the key for processing time. It depends on the officer...

Do not agree here, on this forum we saw that higher wages NOCs are still processing faster for sure. Doctors, Software Developers, etc.

Right. They aren't checking employer much, if he already got LMIA before.

Hello ALL,

My employer got a call from service canada and was interviewed. At the end of the call the officer told she will strongly recommend for the approval but the decision is made by her boss. Does it mean i will get a positive LMIA??

Please help.

Thank You

You will have good news in few days!

Hey all,

I have been reading the tread for awhile. My PGWP is gonna expire in May 2017 and I wouldn't have completed my 1 year work hours. A quick question. Which NOC would you think will get a more positive reply for a LMIA? A position as a Web Designer/ Video Editor? or A Retail Store Manager/ Assistant?

Let me know what you guys think. Thanks
