Hello!

I am currently in the working holiday visa, it is about to expire in two months. I don't currently have a contract, but I could get one, the problem is the LMIA. My questions are the following:

1) Is it possible to apply for the PR by submitting only the LMIA number, without a positive or negative response?
2) if I get a work permit, is the employer under the obligation to employ me for the complete term of the contract or can they terminate it if needed? I believe they can, and that moment the WP is no longer valid?
3) Apart from the LMIA Employer fee, are there other fees that the Employer needs to be aware off regarding the LMIA.

FULL CONTEXT: This is all post-quarantine.

Any info you know about this would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

1. You will only get an LMIA number if it is positive. Obviously you should look into ways to apply for PR that don't require an LMIA.
2. They can still terminate you, at which point you have 90 days to apply for a new status or leave Canada.
3. Any costs associated with advertising the position and filing paperwork.
