Living in Quebec but having employer in another city/state

Hi everyone,

I have been living in Quebec for two years with my work visa. I recently got a job offer from Vancouver, however I do not want to leave because I am planning to apply for PEQ then PR around October/November.

I was wondering I can get another work visa to live in Quebec with the new job offer from Vancouver.

It's possible this may put your PEQ at risk since Quebec may doubt you have plans to remain there if your job offer is from Vancouver.

The safest option would be to either move to Vancouver and apply for PR through Express Entry or BC PNP - or to find a job in Quebec if you want to remain in Quebec and apply through PEQ.
