HI,

According to my calculation if some one wants to get a relevant job in Canada then he has to study something from Canada otherwise odd jobs are the only solution,

Lets say if some one has done ACCA, then he will not be able to find relevant job until he gets some degree regarding accounting , finance or audit from Canada to win relevant job,

My second question is what is the average living cost of three people ( a husband ,wife, and 2 year old kid) in Canada, and if that person does not find relevant job can he survive by doing odd jobs, like job on gas station, pizza hut, McDonalds ,etc,

Regards

Cost of living varies a lot throughout Canada, it differs from one province to another. It is obvious that living in a big city requires more funds to cover basic needs as compared to rural areas. Try to google COL and statistics or talk to those who are already settled in Canada.

Generally it is quite reasonable to trust official minimum settlement funds requirements posted by CIC. Let's say it's the minimum amount of money you will need for your first 6 months of staying in Canada, thus if you are going to stay unemployed for a year or just want to be more confident, use a multiplier :)

As for personal experience, I can share my friends' basic costs for a family of two. It's more than $1,000 for accomodation and at least $750 per month for food and cafes. Other commodities, gas and stuff like that are not included.

Yes, if you manage to find a job that pays you at least 15 $/hour wages and you work for 40 hours a week or so. Go to craigslist.ca and check how much you can earn at such work. And don't forget about taxes!
