no worries, angelnic19... im very glad to help as much as i could . when i was the one who's applying for PR and OWP, i have no one to ask to and i'm not familiar with this forum yet that's why i had a hard time gathering everything then cause i have really no idea bout the other requirements so now that i am just waiting for the result of my application, i just wanna spend my time sharing my experience with others

Thank you! I'm a live-in caregiver, and on the IMM0008 : for the current country of residence, what date should I put for 'TO'? The expiration date of my work permit, or the day I will validate my form?

And what should I put as my intended occupation?

Put the up to validity of your passport or the expiration of you WP whichever is later. You can hazard an occupation you'd like to pursue. It's verbatim anyway so you can put anything that the officer can understand.

Hey guys. Just wanted to ask, do I hv to put the specific address on the schedule A of the places I've lived for the past ten yrs. Can't remember exactly. Can only remember the Towns n cities. Thx

As LIC, applying for PR & OWP, how would you answer the new form (imm5710),for question #3 name of employer (on details on intended work in canada section). Also, where can you find the document number in work permit, is it the same as file no. found in the wp (beside the client ID no.)? Thanks.

i help a friend fill up these forms. we only only put "open work permit" as name address of employer and it validates. the document number leave it empty. HTH

Hey guys. Hope u all had a great holiday! It's back to business now. Just found out my renewal work permit is in the mail. I applied on October 11th. Just in time bcuz my current one expires the first week of Jan. To all caregivers finishing their LIC pr requirements soon, good luck, patience and blessings. It will b over soon. We just have to make sure we dot all ou Is and cross all our Ts!
