Hi, Im a live-in caregiver,i just wanted to ask if i chose to stay outside my employer's house but remain full time at work would i still be able to be in the program of a live in caregiver?or if staying out will affect my live in caregiver program?

If you live outside the home, you no longer qualify for the LCP. If you're caught, you can have your work permit revoked and removed from Canada. You also wouldn't qualify for your PR any longer.

"Visiting" on the weekends is okay though.

this is the reason why an applicant during her pr interview have been denied pr residency by the immigration officer when she was asked about her job as live in caregiver..she told the immigration officer she works live out..i do hope you will not follow the same mistake by staying outside of your employer's house within your lic employment.
