Hi,

I will try to keep the info as concise as possible, I'm from India. (Female, 21 years old, New Delhi)

30th June 2018 (Age 18) - Came to Canada with my parents on Tourist Visa
- Applied for Student visa, and got rejected 3 times

After 16 months, tried visiting the USA, at the Canada border, got a departure notice and asked to leave Canada within 2 weeks, it said "You can come back later as you have a valid Tourist Visa, but right now, you need to leave and report us when you do"

27th October 2019 (Age 19) - I followed all instructions and left before the deadline.

My parents and little brother (<18) were asked to leave much later, they appealed and are currently legal in Canada on Refugee Claimant status, working legally and paying taxes.

My question - June 2022, Can I visit my parents in Canada on my Tourist Visa?
- I'm enrolled in my country's University,
- Have a valid return ticket
- Just want to visit my parents after 3 years
- Plan on leaving within 2 months, no shady tactics

Can I enter the country on my tourist visa in June without any problems?

Do you have a valid TRV?
I doubt she has a valid TRV as she was given a departure notice which means they revoked her visa (if she had a valid one).

There's a decent chance your TRV was canceled and you'll need to apply for a new one.

The fact you overstayed and received a departure notice and your parents are refugee claimants will likely make it difficult to get another TRV approved.

I would go with a 3 week visit and not 2 months given your history and your family's history in Canada.

Hi there,

They did not revoke my Visa, they told me that, currently I need to leave but I can come back later.

Any reason why? I have not met my parents in 3 years, hence I want to visit Canada

IRCC don't get satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR.
They think you will claim asylum

Good Luck

Not seeing your parents isn’t relevant in the eyes of the Government. You overstayed your visa, and got a departure notice . The chances of being allowed back in are extremely slim by your actions , as well as your immediate relatives overstaying , and subsequently applying for asylum . The Government more than likely will not take a chance you’ll do the same thing your parents did .
Just by you mentioning “ no shady tactics “, makes one raise their eye brows .
The three years separation was the doing of actions by all involved, I’d blame your parents. But you are a adult

Sweet summer child , of course you’ll need a TRV to return. You were ASKED to leave a country . You overstayed. Showed complete disregard for Canada’s immigration rules .
Why would Canada now give you carte Blanche access to entering, when you’ve been given a order to leave, and you’ve been refused not once, not twice , but THREE times a student visa ?

Totally Agree
Why at first place create a situation that in future , the Host country will never allow you to enter
By simply saying "This time I will not do ,I promise trust me" don't help much , your ACTION and immediate family action matters in case of Immigration.

And I (personally) with IRCC view on this aspect .

No, I was under the assumption that I don't need a TRV, according to this screenshot, Since, I got a departure notice which I followed correctly, I do not require a TRV to visit. What do you think?

You are not from a visa exempt country, you need a TRV to enter Canada as a tourist. With what you've done, overstaying and disregard on how long you should have stayed, the chance of getting a TRV is very low. (plus your family is trying to claim as refugee.)

If I show my University enrollment, results, valid return ticket, would it help?

I misspoke, I HAVE a valid TRV (Tourist Visa), I thought you meant an ARC.

Plus, when they asked me to leave the country, they deliberately did not cancel my TRV, they told me that I need to leave right now, but I can come back later.
