Hello,

I am currently preparing my papers for the US Buffalo office. The FBI fingerprints are in hand etc.

But two months from now I will be in Italy, probably working in Europe for six months thereafter.

Is there any benefit in applying from an European country? Eg the times are shorter, or else it's easier for them to contact me by post (I will have difficulty checking my mail in the USA :)

I have an Indian passport, and of course I have legal status both in the US and a Schengen visa valid for six months.

Thanks for your input..

time frame to apply from europe is about two years whereas time frame from buffalo is about 16months or even lesser.
u rather apply through buffalo , so that u know after six months, even after coming back to USA, u ll already have your application being processed.
hope it helps.

As you will only be admitted to a European country for 6 months, you can't apply there, you have to be admitted for 1 year,.
