Hello, guy please the remark at the end of mt work permit states:

LMIA VALID FOR 4 YEAR APPLICANT IS NOT PART OF THE LCP NOR ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR PRUNDER THI PROGRAM DOCIMENTS ISSUED TO PASPORT EXPIRY DATE.

Please what does it mean?

thanks :)

It means that you do not qualify to apply for permanent residency through the live in caregiver permanent residency stream. Your job does not meet the requirements of this immigration stream.

What this practically means is that you most likely cannot use your job to become a permanent resident of Canada.

Once you have finished four years of work in Canada, you will have to leave and return home. You won't be able to stay.

But i applied based on my qualifications as a nanny,my LMIA was approved based on my qualification why should cic say i'm not qualified fro PR?

It's impossible for me to answer your question given the limited information you have provided. All I can tell you is that you don't qualify to apply for PR under the live in caregiver stream based on the kind of work permit that was issued to you.

Are you going to be living in the home of your employers? Or will you be living outside of their home and just working in their home during the day?
