My visa application as LCP was denied for the reason "despite your completion of training course related to your prospective employment, you were unable to demonstrate that you have sufficient knowledge and skills to adequately provide care without supervision". I was advised that I could still reapply if I wish to, provided that my situation will change substantively. Could you please elaborate what this mean so I know what to do. Thank You Very Much!

What kind of care are you supposed to do in Canada? Did you get interviewed by the officer?

As I said when you posted this question in the Skilled Workers section of this forum - you are going to have to provide a lot more information about yourself if you want any help from the members of this forum. What training do you have? When did you complete it? What experience do you have and was it paid? When did you complete it? Were you interviewed? If so, what happened at the interview? What questions were asked about your training / capabilities?

The interview is a way the visa officer to know if an applicat has the knowledge and the abilities required to care for children. I wonder what questions the officer asked you during the interview.
I remember when I had an interview with the visa officer to finalize my work visa application under LCP, I was asked questions such as what to do when a child was choked, got something poisonous, what the emergency number to call when some emergency happened. The visa officer wanted to see if I had knowledge of some first aid and could be left alone to care for the children and to deal with emergency situations when parents were not around or when parents were both at work.

If you are coming from the Philippines then you might've failed the knowledge component of your Speak Test. Do you know your score?

You have the same outcome with my future caregiver. I advised him to volunteer in a hospital pediatric ward so that he could gain some skills and experience. I hope that they will consider the volunteer work.

Agreed. Volunteer work will not be considered. You need paid work experience.

I am positive that they already took a certificate for the caregiver's course. But still the VO was not satisfied that they have sufficient knowledge and skills for the childcare. What do you think is the best thing to do? Thank you guys.

Volunteering will help the applicant gain experience, which can help in answering the questions at the speaktest. The issue was not the training, but the failure to convince the officer of the applicants caregiving knowledge.
