According to their web site 8-10 weeks plus 3-4 additional for medical results. LCP will be longer than the normal work permit as well.

between 8-10 weeks, i will receive the MR? I'm currently working here in Norway. Thank you for your reply. :) ;D ;D ;D

Hi guys!

I'm currently here in Norway and my visa will end on August 1st. My problem is until now I haven't receive anything letter from LVO since they received my application last Feb. 17, 2012. It is 7th week now. Although they say in the website that it will take 8-10 weeks.

What if a month before the end of my visa, still I haven't receive anything from them, and requested my passport back, and I need to go home in my home country, is it possible to tell inform them that I will wait for my visa in the Philippines, instead here in Norway? Because I think, I can't find a new employer here, if I will tell them that I have current application in Canada and can't stay for 1 more year with them..

Please help me.. :(

Did you already submit your PP in LVO?...Yes, you can wait your visa in the Philippines but you need to inform LVO for your new contact info (address & tel nos. in the Philippines) before you leave.

Yes, I submitted my PP at LVO since Feb.. I haven't receive any news yet, since my employer submitted their supporting documents that LVO is asking. Hopefully, just before end of July, I have my medical and visa approve already, so that I can go back to Philippines first before heading Canada. :) Thank you
