When I booked them thru phone direct to PAL that is one of their requirements upon check in daw. Try ko nga ulintumawag to double check un pa din sinabi. So what i did I made my travel consent then pinanotarized ko sa notary public here in toronto kasi kahit naman daw galing sa phil embassy. It is juat a policy ng PAL kasi alam ko na kahit isa sa parent na ang kasama di na need. Just to comply kaya ginawa ko na din $55 bayad including tax.

Thanks so much Ellann..actually my friend just came from Pinas to accompany his son..di naman daw sia hinanapan ng consent..thou meron din sia dala from her husband ,pero hindi notarized, just a simple consent letter. And sabi din ng 2 nating ka forum ,eh di na raw need kahit ng DSWD,kc nga one of the parents are coming with the children..so ganun na lang din gawin ko,gawa na lang ng simple consent letter at ipadala ko sa kanila..Thanks for your reply ellan..God bless.

Welcome, I know di na nga need nila ng dswd di na rin akokumuha kasi kasama naman nila tatay but ang PAL lng ang may bagong policy upon check in un ang sinabi sa akin. kaya kumuha na lang din ako di naman sa immigration hihingiin kundi sa check in sa PAL. i tried twice na tinawagan sila same pa din na need ko daw kasi one parent lang.. ewan ko ba basta ngcomply lang ako para walang hassle

I need some thought on this one please. Im given 90 days to renew the passport in order for them to set my interview. They request a new passport because my hubys passport will expire April 2 2015 so the release of his new passport is May 9.. So my interview was compromised. How long would it take the interview? How long is the passport request? Im so down... I submitted my documents 2007. They start processing my application 2013. Huby's medical is June 2014 which is done already. - Kate
it depends on how fast you can submit the requested passport and it is still depends on the visa officer that handles your paper. it is case to case bias mine was interview first before ppt and it took a week that manila sent a passport request to my family after my interview then after 8 weeks of interview passport with visa was received by my family.

Thank you ellann! Hindi ako mainterview because passports ng hubby ko at anak ko magexpire na sa April 2..Kailangan narenew then photocopy. Dapat daw pala 1 year bago maexpire magrenew na..DFA in Mindanao is sobrang bagal March 3 my hubby renewed 2 passports with our daughter. May 9 pa raw ang releasing. Grabe ang tagal. Patience nalang tayo neto. Thank you so much sa reply po! God bless --- Kate

I received an email from CPCV and they are now asking my husband to do a re-assessment for his medical exam which will be expiring on June 4, 2015.... this is too much now,,, waiting and waiting and waiting.... they are only giving mu husband 30 days to comply or else they will make the decision. so frustrating!!!!

OhMy! Did you notify CEM after you have landed? And, have you notified CIC that your LC2's medical had already expired? We know it's their duty to be up-to-date with the applicants' status, but they seem to...as u have said...lack empathy; that's why we should give them some nudging from time to time. While i am anxious about not receiving our passports with visa as it has been almost 11 weeks since my LC1 landed, i can imagine your agitation about your situation. But let's not lose hope. Keep the faith! No matter how unfair it seems, let's hold on to God's divine plan. All shall be well.

Sure, I did.I'm good at that, giving a whack on them (tru email, call and letters) YET nothing happened. And my husband is not the only one, many of our LC2 have expired medical due to this kind of ridiculous system in the immigration >:(..

With much gladness and thanksgiving, visa...on...hand!!
Praise and glory to GOD!!

Visa issued March 19th.
Delivered today, April 18th.
