I wanted to ask help as to wer are we gonna send our receipt after payment. if it would be paid online wer to send it so with the option of paying in the bank. your answer would be a great help for us. thank you so much.

Submit it to where you submitted your NBI which is CPC-Vegreville. Be sure you have your personal copy with you upon submission.

One more thing j_c, you can call CPC-Vegreville about your concern.

by the way rsjm, some was sending their receipt tru email. they just scan the receipt and email it back. do you have any idea about it? thanks

Better call CPC Vegreville about that. As far as I know, if you pay online you need to print a hard copy of your receipt, if you pay thru bank, IMM 5401 has CPC copy bank's copy and your personal copy. On both options, you have to send your proof of payment to CPC.

Hello everybody.
I am writing on behalf of my sister.
She has 2 dependents and is divorced.
Below is her timeline:

We received your application for permanent residence on July 11, 2011.
We started processing your application on July 16, 2013
.

IS THIS COMMON FOR CASE TO TAKE THIS LONG? She has been in Canada since 2008 (initially on Visa), her kids are growing and there is a mandatory military service for males once they reach 18 (her older son is 17 now). We have not heard anything after receiving the letter stating that she meets the requirements and that her children would be contacted from the embassy in Moscow. This was in July 2013.

Thank you all for your responses.

My mom has almost the same timeline as your sister. They received her application for pr on may 2011 and started processing on june 2011. You sister's timeline takes too long before they were able to process it.

Hi dvovan,
I have the same timeline with your sister. They received my application on July 7th and started processing on July18th 2011, after I received the AIP through email that stated I had met the requirements on Aug 2nd 2013, the information on ecase was changed to: they started processing since Aug 1st 2013, your fmaily will be contacted.
So don't worry about it. Just wait or do something for it such as asking MP for help, or apply your nephew's visitor visa. Have it a try.

My dependant didn't receive the LC2 kit as her student visa got refused twice so I hired a lawyer to get the judicial review, and my daughter is here now. So I updated my information after my daughter arrived and asked to process inside Canada, one month later, I received the second letter stating decision made, last week I received the letter and I was scheduled the interview on May31st, on my daughter's birthday.

Since your sister has an open work permit, so try to apply your nephew's visitor visa or student visa, it takes faster than waiting for the kit.
Good luck to your sister and nephew.

Many many thanks for your response. I have just emailed my MP yesterday and will definitely follow up with that. I also invited my nephews for a visitor visa but they got rejected. I will probably try to invite them for student visa as you advised and then hire a lawyer if they get a rejection. Are you in Ontario? If so will you please forward your lawyers name? Best of luck on May 31, you deserve it. I am glad you were able to reunite with your daughter. By the way, what kind of student visa were you applying for? Both my nephews under 18, so that would have to be from school? Thank you.

Hi dvovan,
Please be advised that your nephews are almost receiving the kit, so if you apply their student visa, it wud be perfect if you are lucky, otherwise, it would take long time to finish the judicial review, mine, it took 10 months. I hoped you could have done this two years ago, now it's too late.
I read some caregivers' posts and said they just applied their children's visitor visa, again and again if got rejected, two or three times, till got the visas.
I suggest visitor visa, and get the MP's support letter that could explain your nephew's situation, and better to hire an immigration consultant to finish the application. Just try. because even if your nephew got the kit, it takes time to undergo the medical, and grant your sister PR first, and another a few more months, you nephew could finally come to Canada. Pray for your nephew.
