If you are staying only for few weeks in the Philippines better to apply it here two months before your departure date or else you will be hanging waiting and no assurance of exact date they will get back to you with your Visa

Hi im from Edmonton and I received it after a week i received an email from CPCV. I have an interview on December 2 at Canada Place

Hi I received an interview letter yesterday, and scheduled me on Dec 2 as well
And Funny thing today I got again the first approval letter (I got it a month ago too) with medical report that mention that I need to go to medical, after local CIC office scheduled me for landing interview???

And I called call centre, they told me don't worry about medical, just go to the interview.
I am relieved.

Anyway I hope I get PR card soon after the interview, so that I can go back to my country and see my family in January.

Does anybody have any idea how long it takes to get PR card after the interview?

I received the first letter on the 16th and received the second one the 18th of October. So it's two days.

Just received an email from CPCV stated that " It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent resident status as a Member of the Live-in caregiver Class " blaahh blaaahhh


This imply that first approval has been done? how long did you wait for the second email and schedule for PR interview? thank you

Im april 2011 applicant too... My husband is waiting for medical request and its been 2 mos now...

may anak ka din ba? paano nakakuha dependants mo ng LC2 kit? and when? salamat. June 2011 applicant kasi ako tas July ko nareceived first stage approval hanggang ngayon wala pang kit mag-ama ko.

Hi! i just received the same email too. I'm excited for my interview. Lol! I'm a January 2013 applicant, as well as my friend in New brunswick got the sam e-mail, we've sent it the same time. ;D
