thanks for the quick reply, when then you received the letter, like how many weeks from the time that your sponsor received the first stage of approval. My husband atleast goes to the post office twice a week.

feb 2013 dumating ung approval sa wifey ko taz sa akin dumating ang letter february din... badtrip pa nga ang post office kc dineliver sa akin march katapusan na... nagka AOR sana ako agad... dumating naman AOR ko july 3 2013... basta mag check lang yung hubby mo sa post office...

It's ok at least you already sent them an email. Next, they will send the LC2 kit via email.

What do you put as a subject in your email to CEM? My husband didn't get anything yet. I received my first stage approval last July.

I don't know if we are on the same timeline. My family is in La Union, too, balot10 I read your post and your family recieved their LC2 already, am I right? When did you received your first stage of approval? My family didn't get any yet. Or is it maybe I didn't provide any email contact of my husband?(poor internet connection in our place that is why)...

Hi faith1985... yes, my hubby received it August 29 thru email. And sent the application yesterday Sept. 4 to CEM. We are more or less on the same timeline. And by the way I have same experience as yours, I received my letter of approval June 23, 2013 then like I waited for CEM to contact my family back home because it was stated in their letter that they will contact my family...waiting and waiting till I finally got into this forum (thank God and to gico and honeysweet) and was told/informed to email CEM. I emailed CEM to request for the LC2 kit August 23....
I am just wondering why they requested you to under go "medical"?... tnx. hope to hear from you.

I don't seem to understand your queries - but hope this will help you. CEM stands for Canadian Embassy Manila/ Embassy Canada - Manila

LC2 Kit - application forms for your family. you need to request it to CEM

Yes they requested me to go medical they sent me form with my application details already filled out in there, then the Panel Physician where I took my medical just forwarded the result to immigration then I phoned CIC to inquire about it and they said they got the med result already and it is all fine so they already forwarded my papers in Manila for my family to be contacted by CIC. Thanks again.

Hi faith for the sake of others live in caregiver's are exempt for second medical. It's a mistake they send you an autimatic email with request medical. Anyways the meds are done and just move on.

guys i need help.. i apply for re entry visa last week to go home for a vacation this december.. my problem is is it ok i have used as a letter of employer the agency that im working with.. is the immigration gonna allow it??? im so worried.. please let me know so that i can apply to other job that can gove me letter of employer and not on the agency.. please need some replies.. thanks

I am so frustrated, are you the one who ask for LC2 kit in Manila Office? Coz it was not written on the email I received from CIC. They said they will be the one to contact my family in Philippines... Thanks a lot.

Hi Faith1985,

Don't get frustrated. Your could email CEM and ask for LC2 kit forms. They will send it to you thru email then just forward it to your family. Ask your LC2 to have an email address because communication is faster using this method instead of the old fashioned snail mail and CEM also prefer this mode of communication.
