we are required to obtain an original police clearance for all the countries where we lived for 6 mos or longer. we are already here in canada for more than 6 mos right? so we have to submit police clearance canada. i submitted 3 police clearances(Phils.(NBI), HK and Canada. All my friends who submitted their application includes the PC Canada. its so easy to get one though.

wsongco is right...you dont need the police clearance from Canada. They will do background check for you. You dont need to send the fingerprint either. If you live other countries aside from your home country, then send the fingerprint to that country to get a PC. Cheers!

I heard that some people just applied for PR without OWP. is that fine to do?

Submit the WP application but write OWP on top margin. Don't you want to be able to have a job other than that of a caregiver when you receive the first stage approval of your application?

am i going to use IMM1249 for an OWP app?
how will i answer the question pertaining to the request? Extend stay or chamge condition?
also about the family, do i need to fill it up? im single with no dependents.
lastly for the income, should i put SELF and provide details or should i put a $ amount?

Yes. Use IMM 1249 and do what Job_seeker posted.
Request: Extend My Stay Until - enter your passport's expiry date AND Change Conditions - explain why are you applying for an OWP.
Family Members: Enter N/A to Boxes Nos: 2 to 6.
Support Myself: Enter the amount you have right now. Click SELF and OTHER (If you are still working - give specifics)

Yes. You must include documents applicable to you enumerated in IMM 5556.

Does CIC always send a Client history update form to every Lcp PR applicants? And when do u usually receive that? Coz its been 9mos since they received my application and i havent received any of that form yet... Just wondering... Thanks
