just wondering why it took them a long time to mail ur OWP since it was approved on april 10,2011?

May i ask why are you scared of going home, now that you have an OWP? I would suggest if you are planning to go home for vacation be sure to have your celphone unit roaming activated just in case CIC will ask for more infos about you while you are outside of Canada.

if we have OWP and unemployed, it's still ok to go home for a vacation? As long as you have everything valid, like visa?

You need to have a job and a letter of employer in order for CiC can issue your RE-ENTRY VISA.

yeah, that's what thought. Was talking to a friend awhile ago and she told me that as long as you have OWp u can go even unemployed. Now, she needs to know!

When did you apply for OWP and PR? was it both at the same time? I will apply on march so im trying to gather all the information. Im single from Vancouver too.

2.find a good job outside lic or take a vacation
3.processing time in Canadian Embassy Manila is 22 months for live in caregiver dependants processing time
