I have two questions:

#1 How can you check the date when they started processing your application?

#2 Are we going to have a medical exam before/after getting our open permit? Or before we get the PR card?

the Processing Times of LCP is updated on February 16, 2011. It is getting faster again...
the first stage will take 10-11 months .(working on applications received up to March 12, 2010)...it was 11 months last week. Hope the processing times go back to 6 months like before....

Hi everyone! i would like to ask about LC2, my son is in the philippines who's under 18 yrs old,got already his LC2 kit application and my husband is in other country,not recieved LC2 kit yet. Does my husband need authorization for my son's application? kinda complicated for me on what to do with my case..Anybody help me out with this matter? thanks..

@lyne- we have the same case my son who is 6 yrs old is in the philippines and my husband is PR in singapore, i dont know where will they send the LC2 kit, how old is your son?

Hello, everyone, haven't seen you guys for a while. I reinstalled my computer, and didn't find my password for the forum till lately. Glad to see everybody here and the good news of processing time getting bit faster. It's encouraging to see some of us got their LC2 for their family. Congratulatings!
