As I understood it, you are under the Live in caregiver category and not under the Spousal Sponsorship. I don't think there would be a problem in your application.

Are you for real. As temporary worker we really have to maintain our status as worker. You have no choice but but to renew your owp. It's too sad just a difference of 10 days but immigration law is a law. No exemptions. Sumit renewal online as soon as possible to make your owp under implied status. Don't jeopardized your pr for only 150$. Good luck!

Hi
I think just call CIC to make sure, they might give some considerations.

Did they require you to have medical again because my friend who is an August, 2011 applicant said medical is now mandatory.

Thank you very much.

hi thepinkpanther, im surprised by the news you posted about medical...
Whats going on?? when did medical become mandatory?????????? as far as i know CIC send it automatically and lots of people get this request but in fact we dont go for medical again... DID ANYBODY ELSE HEAR ABOUT MEDICAL AS MANDATORY??

I just found this so maybe it depends. I'm just trying to clarify things as I am an October 2011 applicant and I haven't heard from anybody yet.

From cic website:

Medical requirements
Do not undergo an immigration medical exam unless we advise you to do so. You will likely not be required to pass a medical exam. However, if it is required, we will provide instructions on medical exams after you submit your application.

All your family members who are not already Canadian citizens or permanent residents must undergo and pass an immigration medical exam, even if your family members will not be processed for permanent residence with your application. Family members who do not undergo and pass a medical exam will not be eligible to be sponsored at a later date. Your family members will be contacted by the visa office in their area with instructions on their medical exams.
