a friend of mine, she just received a letter for pr interview. She submitted her pr application last april 2011. Single applicant..

Hi dear i did also filled my application April 7th 2011 and I'm married I or my husband didn't get any thing yet plz let me know if you have nay new news for April 2011 thank you god bless us....

Sorry, i didn't ask what date she filled her application. She just told me, month of april 2011..

@ nipa, with dependant applicants, waiting period is 38 mos.

We were done with our medical exam last February 26, 2013 and results were good. More than a month has already passed by and yet there is no e-mail or notification for passport request coming from the embassy. However, my mom had already fax the immigration and so did I through e-mail few weeks ago.

We can't really wait! It seems that everyone here has already received their medical request. Hence, embassy has office hours despite the holiday season.



I just wanna ask when are we going to have our visa?

Headcrash4 just be patient. It will come very soon. If your mom got her permanent residency, then CEM will issue your visa. I don't know when...

AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt) a letter from CEM infroming you they had received the application kit, the UCI and file number of your LC2 are on the letter too.

we cannot do anything but wait that's the government's protocol. Your mom should be PR first before they issue your visa.

You already waited for so long, and I bet 2 or 3 months is not that long anymore for you to wait considering you already waited for more than 2 years. Be patient and you will get your visa when you least expect it. God bless!

Ysheen around feb 25 i think. Seems like 2011 applicants are going fast track. Hopefully we get our pr soon :
