Hi tinkermarie,, i passed my application for PR last december 2010,, did they send you a form before they give your PR,, because they send me a client information update last feb 2013,, im single too from Toronto, , can I have your email ad pls so I can ask you more details.thanks
Thank you all in the passed week , I got the letter from CIC on Feb 26 last Tue , decision made on Feb 21 , a week passed but still waiting for the call for the interview date , is there anyone has the same problem like me ?

I did apply my OWP/PR April 2011 got my OWP in Dec. 2011. OWP valid until Dec 2015 and where ever i was working as care giver on det work permit i had visa until Jun 2012 so now I have just OWP visa so i really dont know what i have to do? do I need other visa? or OWP which is valid until Dec 2015 it will be ok or if I get any problem to get my PR? Plz let me know if any body know or to whom i should ask? plz help god bless us....

YOU DO'T NEED TO DO ANYTHING,MY WOP VAILD IN DEC 2015 TOO,BUT MY VISA EXPIRE DAY WAS IN MAY 2012,SO I STILL WORK AS A CAREGIVER UNTILL NOW,IF YOU DO'T LEAVE CANADA ,IT SHOULD BE OK ,I THINK YOUR PR WILL COME IN MAY ,SO DO'T WORRYIED ABOUT THAT. MINE IS COMING SOON TOO ,I APPLIED IT IN MAY 2011,WE ARE ALMOST SAME TIMELINE.

march 2011 applicant po ako may dependant po ako sa pilipinas asawa ko, nong nag apply po ako PR binayaran ko lang po is 650 and my letter po ako na to be follow nlang yung remaining balance ng papers ko kaya lang po until now di ko pa po nabayaran, tumawag ako last year sa CIC sa situation ko sabi nila ni rereview pa rin nman yung papers ko tpos padadalhan nlang daw ako ng confirmation pag kailangan na nila bayaran ko ang remaining balance, sa tingin nyu po ba tama po ba ang CIC agent im

Is it not indicated in the Instructions guide that if you didn't paid the right amount they won't process your application? You should've paid $1250 and the RPRF$980 is ok to be paid on a later date/on your PR interview. You shouldn't call just once with the cic agents because they don't have the same answers.
