Hello All!

Probably this will be my last post....

I got a letter in the end of december saying that my process for PR was over and I was approved.

A week after I received another letter saying that my interview would be in the following week.

Now, after the interview ( not actually an interview), I am a permanent resident. Just waiting for my PR card.

After the interview you are already a permanent resident, and you won't be without any document, they give you a paper that it's actually your permanent residency. The PR it's for you to get in and out of the country. The paper is already a document.

Anyway, changed sin number and care card...now back to life....

WHEN DID IT START? I MEAN AFTER CIC GOT YOUR APPLICANT,HOW LONG THEY START TO DO THAT?

is it this true that u need to renew with the same employer till owp is processed and pr.? and when I got my 24months I can start applying for owp and pr ..

Thats not true, you can change employers before you finish your two years. I had two employers in total

Before, you have to take the receipt with you.

I sent my application on October 25th/2010, so took 27 F%$#% months to get my PR...something that It was suppose to be 6 months of waiting....I am a single applicant...I can't think how hard it's for someone with family....the most unfair process that I ever heard...

Very sad to see that the rest of november appliants havent gotten AIP yet. I hope and pray that they havent stop ............. I guess we just have to stay positive and hopeful even though its such a retched process

MY FRIEND SENT HIS APPLICATION IN SEP 2010,ANDTHEN STARTED IN NOV 2010,HE GOT OWP IN NOV 2011,AFTER 2 WEEKS HE GOT LETTER AIP,ANDTHEN INTERVIEWED IN DEC 2011,HE GOT PR CARD IN FEB 2012, HE IS SINGAL,SO FAST HA,HE IS IN TORONTO.I AM SINGAL TOO ,SO SLOW,ALMOST 2 YEARS TO WAIT.
