Live-in caregiver PR applicants for April,May and June timeline

Hi strike,

my OWP was issued based on the validity of my passport. I don't think I will be a resident on March 2013 as I only applied December of 2012.
Im trying to apply for a job but Im having problems with the validity of my OWP. employers are advising me to renew it first as its less than 6 months prior to expiry.

first renew your passport then renew your owp. you can renew owp without employer. reason waiting for PR under LIC.

I think you're AIP is coming ..the last one I've heard was Sept.10 timeline...I love reading this thread and that of Boyzone's..blessings of good news are pouring out...All the best to all 2010 applicants..my LC1 timeline is December 10, 2010..

called CIC this morning,said that I still have 2 mos more since the waiting period now for the 1st approval is 26 mos.. i dont know.. i just trying to look on the bright side of life and not to be so affected of this looooooooooooooooooooong waiting...God bless us all...

@ Ava, I honestly think it depends on the officer you get on the phone. You might call somone tomorrow who might be better informed and they tell you something else. Dont worry. I believe you will receive it very soon.

I guess the 26 months waiting period is just an estimated time for them to play safe, when they (CIC VO) are actually tryin to meet the deadlines for LIC's esp. the 2010 applicants who has been deprived of early owp's and now the AIP , it will come very soon, lets just take it positively you've waited for so long 2 months is not bad heheh joke!. ;D..just keep the faith , endurance and patience...huh! The Manila CIC will send it by email if your family is in the Philippines.

Ok cimaron iam an august applicant, so they will send the email to me the principal applicant? Coz my husband has his kit already from singapore and my son is the only one from the philippines
