You need to call CIC and tell them your case.
The instructions on the website are not clear as far as our case is concerned.
I applied for a study permit in 2008, the requirements might already be different now.
I don't recommend you use the online application as you are applying for your initial study permit. You can apply online for renewing though. That's what I did.
Talk to a cic agent.
But I guarantee you, as long as you provide them with the complete requirements, you will be granted one.
The key requirement is getting a proof that you've been accepted at the school.
I studied part-time but it was a 2-year program.
