Girls, I'm worry about the cote that the government said last month. 9000 PRs under the LCP,including families....

They give the OWP but the PR can come in 2013...have you thought about it?

I will believe in this OWP story only when I receive my PR.

@ strikenannies..cic agent told me that as of the moment ,the processing time is 17 monts so expect your owp decision on july 2012

We almost have the same timeline. They received my PR application on Dec 6, 2010 and start processing on Jan 20, 2011. I'm still waiting and it says in process on E-Cas and their hotline. Any news with your application?

I am DECEMBER 2010 applicant and my work permit will expire January 25, 2012..

Same here dec 2010 applicant and my work permit will expire on dec 28, 2011

I dont know what to say to the 2010 applicants to console your heartbreaking waiting time...even if i'll say the 2011 applicants who received their OWP is not approved in principle yet...still its UNFAIR to those who waited for a long time in whichever angle.Even if the PR will come shortly after the OWP for those who waited 17months or more but the only downside is for married applicants....and worst, we dont know whats going to happen next...Lets just keep our faith...continue praying, think positive and above all trust HIM! There's always a bright light at the end of the tunnel. The fight for conditional PR is still on for LiCs! Cheers guys!

I am sorry for being negative but i don't trust CIC or the government at all.
They are up to something and have for sure a hidden agenda. we heard many times that they really want to make the
LCP a temporary program WITHOUT PR so i hope this is not their way of doing so.
i also heard of many caregivers having problems and not getting their pr at the end so they go to appeal but a lawyer cost much money ..i don't know
also so many friends want to come and work but can not find employers.

I am a June 2010 applicant and I got my OWP.
My friend is October 2010 and she got hers.

So don't lose hope...

Yeah, hoping is all we can do. Its hard to understand the rational behind the inconsistency in the processing of our papers because I thought it was a systematic process.

Mrs. Just Tiis does your October friend got approval is principle too? Is he or she married?
