Hi to all forumers of this thread,

Lastnight i have a pleasant dinner with my former boss and her sister (visa officer from cic vegrivelle) during our dinner i was able to ask her all the questions that i have gathered in this thread, but before i will share with you all the informations i would like first to ask an apology to all married applicants,because of my wrong quote/wrong information that i have posted here last august 2011 i missunderstood what she emailed to me regarding LC2. in my previous posting last august i wrote that "NO LC2 KIT RECEIVED NO OWP" this is not what she mean to me about her email. :-[ :-[ :-[ WHAT SHE SAID LAST NIGHT IS THAT NO LC2 CAN BE REQUESTED TO THE DEPENDANTS UNTIL CIC CAN GRANT INITIAL APPROVAL TO THE APPLICANTS... THIS IS WEATHER DEPENDANT'S ABROAD RECEIVED THE LC2 KIT OR NOT THIS DOES'NT MATTER.I DO NOW HOPE THAT THIS CORRECTED INFORMATION MAY GIVE LIGHT AND NEW HOPE TO ALL MARRIED APPLICANTS.

According to her LC2 kit is being requested ONLY to the LIC dependant living abroad (outside Canada)and because your dependants are here in Canada LC2 kit doesnt apply to you, just wait for your OWP maybe you can have it before the end of this year.

Please could you asked too why some august and september applicant got their opw/pr interview and some of may,june july applicant not. we are all singles and if we call cic they said our application is up to date no problem... why they process not fair both single applicant, send all the requirements needed and yet not in order to released result of applications....thanks a lot GOD BLESS you always...

according to her its a case to case basis CIC vegrivelle is not alone in making decision of every applicants timeline she said the CSIS - Canadian Security and intelligence Service are also involved in every applicants applications, there are million of applicants around the world that the CSIS checked everyday..FACTORS that affect the timeline of every apploicants include:

1. Delayed in POLICE CLEARANCE RECEIVED BY CIC VEG,
2. Delayed of Canadian Embassy Abroad reply to there inquiries..CIVIL STATUS,BACKGROUND CHECK ETC.

Since i got a letter from CIC client update form that i send last Aug 18 Recv Aug 23. I have no idea if they recv it bec until now cant view it on my Ecas if they recv the document. Anybody here who send client update form have an update on your Ecas?

There is no advise yet from ottawa about new programs for lic,
in most cases like sending your case to local cic most normal timeline that you could get reply from them is between 3-6months. its a matter of background checking in your case as what i have posted you before like also multiple names.much better if you will ask for CAIPS from Ottawa so that you will have an idea what was the visa officer have been documented in your case.

@agihun.. Congrats.. Hopefully i could get mine too.. Still waiting for it.. I am also single and planning to get married but still waiting for my pr to come.. Wont be able to get married not until i get my pr. So sad but i know God will help. Hopefully i could get it this week.. . Gobless!
