Wsongco, you did a great job! But is there a way we could fill out the gaps in that table? It would be interesting to see how fast the provincial immigration services are. I am from Alberta. It is really interesting for me how soon they send you the letter about the interview in Alberta.

if you analyzed the chart mostly in vancouver they get their PR interview in a week..i think in AB you have to wait for 2-3 months..im not sure. we have to ask somebody from Alberta.

In Quebec its so frustrating because we have to wait for the CSQ (Québec selection certificate) they say a year to get it. and last time i attend a session/meeting...even if you have an open work permit you cant renew your medicare if you dont have CSQ.

My friend Sveta (she is from AB too) got her letter about landing interview 3 days later (after her OWP). She sent her papers on June 2 2010, and got her OWP Sept 19th 2011. She is single, no depend.

And her landing interview will be on Oct 20th. So it is good news for Albertans caregivers - we don't need to wait 2-3 month, it is faster (like in BC)

Hi, wsongco. you did the great job!
if you guys don't mind, can we share the Nationality as well?

OK ILL DELETE THE APPLICATION SENT I LL CHANGE IT TO NATIONALITY.
MAKE ANY SUGGESTIONS!

TO CHANGE GO TO "EDIT" NEXT TO "FILE" ON LEFT TOP PART.

FOR THE DATES YOU HAVE TO PUT

LET SAY FOR APRIL 6 2010...YOU HAVE TO PUT 06 04 10 THEN ENTER

One more suggestion. Do we need both columns "nationality" AND "country". I think, either one would be enough. I am from Ukraine, I am Ukrainian.

Hi fellows, happened to find out this forum, and surprised that I'm not alone. I am single with a dependant, and submitted on June, 2011, CIC received on June 14, 2011, and started processing Aug.24, 2010, then nothing happened until now. I'm so depressed...

@ cryingmom: i understand you... This situation/ problem has been drillinv my brain for a year now... It is so hard...

I am starting to wonder if somebody in position ( govt or media) can bring up this topic ... It seems they would only act when they're (cic)questioned or criticized...

can anyone help me..im may 2010 applicant but my husband hasn't receive any kit yet..does anyone here has the same situation ?im worried that it will prolong the application of my papers

did you ever try to call cic and ask about it?

@lyne:i called cic many times but unfortunately i got the same answer, they told me that it depends on the visa officer who got my papers..when i told them why is it that most of the applicant's family already received the kit..they just told me that i should not ask about other persons application and should only ask about my papers..im so worried

Hi Trisha,

How about the Canadian Embassy on where your LC2 resides. Contact that specific embassy and hopefully they know what happened. BTW what is your dependent's country of residence?
