My timeline is under.....

We received your application for permanent residence on April 19, 2011.

We started processing your application on May 9, 2011.


A decision has been made and you will be contacted.

We sent you a letter on May 29, 2013.Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us.

I am wondering why my application has not move to the next stage yet.Read some of the thread here and I have the same timeline.March 2011-submit application,April 2011-recieved by CIC,May 2011-started processing,June 2011-CIC ask for my current address,December 2011-got an OPen Work Permit(up to February 2013),January 2013-applied for extension of Open Work Permit,February 2013-recieved refusal of Work permit extension,March 2013-sent a complain letter to CIC Alberta about their faulty online application system,March 27 2013- applied for restoration(since I haven't heard about my complain), May 29 recieved an email from CIC stating that no action made for the restoration because I have been issued an Open Work Permit that is good until December 2015( which I haven't recieved yet)--and that a cheque for the $350 refund will be sent to me.---Seems like a good news to me but I am getting nervous,coz the Open Work Permit is not yet in my hand.And I am concern that this will cause the delay of my Permanent Residence application?Any insight will be much appreciated.....

I think you had just recently filed your pr app in CPC Vegra last month only, most probably you will receive your AIP DM (approved in principle decision made) on May 2015, afterwards the app kit will be sent to your LC2 (your husband if you are married by then). So it is still a long way off but if you insist here under are the required docs on the LC2 checklist:

1. Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008)
2. Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP) (if you have more than five (5) family members)
3. Schedule A – Background/Declaration (IMM 5669)
4. Additional Family Information (IMM 5406)
5. Identity documents
• Original NSO Birth Certificate
• Copy of passport ‘s data page for all accompanying family members only
6. Six (6) passport-sized photos (paste one to the IMM 0008 for each family member)
7. On a separate sheet, provide your In-Canada relative's full name,complete & current mailing address, telephone number, fax number and e-mail account
8. Spouse/Partner Questionnaire
9. Evidence of relationship between yourself and your spouse/common-law partner
• Wedding/engagement photos and/or photos of outings;
• Letters between you and your spouse/common-law partner
(including postmarked envelopes),
• Printed e-mails, chat records or telephone bills;,
• Remittance slips, etc.
NOTE:
-Phone cards are not credible evidence of contact / relationship and
should not be submitted.
- Photos must be loose. Do not send them in binders, albums, frames
or other such containers. Do not send video discs or video cassettes.
Do not send musical greeting cards or other similar documents
containing electronic or mechanical devices.

10. Original NSO Marriage Certificate
11. Original NSO Advisory on Marriage
12. Police Certificates (mandatory NBI Clearance and Foreign Police Clearance if applicable)
13. Original NSO CENOMAR (Certificate of No Marriage) for the principal applicant in Canada who declared marital status as “Single” or “Common-Law Partner”

Other forms are for children, which you don't have any as you are not yet married as of now.

ahmm is that LC2 cheklist is it sent mail or by email ?? and who will receive the LC2 kit are they going to send it to me then i will send it to my husband ? or CEM is the one who is going to send it directly to my husband ??



that is a long list hey ... so what do you think ..because before our plan is to have my PR first then got married then i will sponsor him ..as i checked for phil spousal sponsorship is from 9 mons it went up to 14 mons ...thats why now we decided that when i got home get married and add him on my application ..i thought since the processing will almost be like the same time with our first option ? i just thought that well atleast our papers will be processed at the same time .. do you think its a good decision for me ??

and also would you mind if you can add me on facebook ... kindly search me pls ill sent you my email add so that if i have some more questions i can easily contact you THANK YOU SO MUCH GOD BLESS YOU

Are you a single applicant? Then maybe your PR interview will soon be scheduled by the CIC office covered/nearest you. I hope mine will come soon. I'm 2 days behind.

as with this timeline the processing is not that slow ...she already done her medical i think after this is just waiting for medical results then interview of LC1 then the visa will be issued with the passport ... i read some after the LC1 interviewed they got their visa in just a week...so hopefully more or less 1 year processing for LC2 ...

yah i think i will pursue my marriage ..atleast just one application ..i will update from time to time

Last night while reviewing my PR documents that i sent last March 2012 i found out that in the signature page of my schedule A application and generic form application i wrote a wrong date and sign it. I'm done with my 24 months exactly last march 2012 but instead i mistakenly put a 2013-02-22 on my schedule A application and 2012-02-22 on my generic application.

correct date that I should put is 2012-03-22. I don't know if I need to call them or just wait for them to contact me abt this.

Call the call centre to tell them your story and ask their some advise, meanwhile, send CIC a letter that includes all the details in writing, good luck!

I don't think it's a big deal. I guess the most important thing with that is you SIGNED the form. In my case I signed earlier too but I signed ahead of 10 days upon my completion of 24 months.

I am live- in -caregiver..i did apply my and my husband PR last dec-2011...I have one question..my cousin is here in Canada ,,he is going to getting marriage in Aug/2013..my cousin planning to sponsor my husband for attending marriage.is it possible to apply my husband as vistor,,even he has already included in my PR application. is it effect my application too ? Please anybody help me.....thanks in advance.
