Hi everybody!! Does anybody know if after I send the papers for my PR/OWP I can change employers? Or do I have to stay with the same ones until I get the OWP?

I applied for my pr 2012/01/16.i know still log time to process.buth have an question.there are some of my friends tells that if we are already five years in canada no matter with time the cic officer will issue pr for us.is that ture or not.please give me a good answer if some one know about it.i am already 5 years 18th of march on this year.my yahoo sdkmendis@yahoo.ca. my cell no 6477022066

You can change employer after you sent your PR application. Thats what i did.

You can change employer but you need LMO before you can apply for the WP and you can't work for the new employer till you get a valid WP.

Just go to Canada Embassy Manila website,
click CONTACT US
find the IMMIGRATION and Visa Section
look for CONTACT TROUGH EMAIL...
click WEBFORM
and there you go start creating your mail to Cem(read the instruction there)
