Thank you for sharing Jgal and congratulations!Jgal said:Hey guys,
I've been reading this forum for a while. Thought I should register so I can share my stories and discuss with y'all regading PR and stuff. Here is a little info about me...
*Single applicant
*Application received March 31, 2010
*Started process June 15, 2010
*Received OWP March 2, 2011
It was so close as I booked a flight going home to visit my family on March 14th, back then I didnt know that the processing time was going up. I was thrilled that I received OWP and didnt have to reschedule my flight.
I think the client history update that "mybhabyu" received is a paper that the government sends us to verify whatever question they have. I got a letter sent to me to verify where I was and what I did in some certain period of time. So for you people who are working on the application, please make sure that you provide all the information correctly so it wont slow down your process.
Hope this helps... and good luck everyone!
Madeira said:Well... no changes for LCP, no changes for Humanitarian cases either, they moved up 8 days (nov 12 to nov 20) on Protected and Refugees cases. There's been some progress on Work Permits (new employer, in Canada) from March 11 to March 15, no changes for the same employer.
I bet when we hit next Wednesday it will go up to 13-14 months. My 13 months is May 9th, Monday. I'll call them and see what they say. Probably, something like, 'We know it's been 13 months for you but we are currently working on applications received up to March 21'.
What's is the point to post the processing times if they don't follow it anyway!
So we are done with elections... maybe it's time we reminded MPs about our situation. I remember somebody mentioned that his/her employer had contacts on CTV. Should we try that?
