Mine too still waiting, no good news yet
mine just shows they will contact my family and if the address we provide want to change we should inform them right away, and after one week i got my OWP the embassy in my country sent an email to my husband that said which day they received his application form and they would contact him. that is it. till now no any news.Shelleonn said:

And maybe it happend that my application was in due time (base on CIC processing time), that is why CIC granted mine and my wife OWP & PR together. Oh.. I'm sorry! Yours husband is the one to verified his case if he is granted an OWP or not! Try to call and talk a CIC agent to verified what you heard on their phone system; And ask too regarding the application of your husband, if he was granted with OWP or not?

BTW.. my wife can't check her case in ecas and on automated phone system! How about your husband, can he?

She has to wait until she hears the initial stage approval to get her spouse' OWP yet unfortunately her turn has not come.

Me too !!! I called 1-888-242-2100 and it doesn't say anything news for my application, but then i decided to call the agent and told me that I have my Open work permit mailed on Dec. 10th too!!! .....I am so happy to hear a good news this early morning
