cic call center agent said they cannot see any information on my file so she is gonna email the cpc vegreville to ask to update my file,then i should call back in two weeks to check again,my god am i gonna wait again for a long time for my owp?how bout you depress girl did you try to call them?

not yet... for sure they will say the same as yours.. but ill try to call later.

I received my pr letter today, the Immigration Center will contact me as stated in my letter. And it says too that my OPW has has been approved letter sent separately. Im just wondering why it didnt came at the same time??? Anyone here had experienced same situation like mine? Also want to ask how many weeks they will contact you by the time the pr letter received?

Congratulations tayme!!! ;D have you talked to CIC call center agents recently if theyve sent you OWP or just waived it? coz you already got a PR letter. According to previous posts it will take 3-4 weeks to hear from local CIC for an interview. You will get an idea on this from Wsongco' spread sheet.

Sorry Roxaida I thought you had already. And even thought, you can leave your job, this won't affect your application.

The only thing it's better to make sure that you will be able to support yourself until you get your OWP, because you can work only as a nanny until your OWP arrive, this mean that you need go through all process, LMO ( labour market opinion letter) and apply for a work permit with a different employer.

If your family can support you until your OWP arrive , doesn't matter when this happen, go for it. Don't worry, leave your work because your are unhappy will NOT AFFECT your application. Just remember to give at least 2 weeks notice to your employee, and after you leave your work you wont be able to leave the country until your OWP arrive too.

This is great, for the first time they had decreased the time after almost a year increasing...

But let's keep pushing them... If we relax a little they will forget about us again...

We can not relax until the backlog is zero and the waiting time be 4-6 months.

Yeah that is what im doing pray all day and night but it seems my time has not come yet,how bout you when do you pass your application?

Katrin. Honiko is from october 7. They are slower but I believe that December will be our month.
