I have to share some information with you guys:

I had applied for my pr and OWP last year in October and since march of this year I'm not able to see my application online. I mean, my ecas doesn't works.

But a week from now I had tried to check my application status by phone, and it works!

If you are like me, maybe you should try to check your application by phone. The number is the same.

1888 2422100 option 1 than option 2 than option 1 and follow the instruction.

Good luck! And sign the petition!

Roxaida- Change your address will not interfer in anything. Even with no job.

As soon as you find out your new address you have to call CIC and let them know, then they will change in the system.

Good luck!

Roxaida- You finished your program and you gained your OWP, and your PR is coming.

Nobody has to stay with a employee that you don't want to work anymore. You have the right to leave your job if you don't want it anymore.

Just be cool, give to her the 2 weeks notice. You can change to anywhere in Canada until your PR arrive that won't make difference in your application. You can live wherever you want to right?

You got your OWP and you want to move to another province and work in something else, it's your life and your choice, and above anything is your right.

Just make sure to call CIC as soon as you have the address that you are moving to.

Very good luck to you!

Sorry Roxaida I thought you had already. And even thought, you can leave your job, this won't affect your application.

The only thing it's better to make sure that you will be able to support yourself until you get your OWP, because you can work only as a nanny until your OWP arrive, this mean that you need go through all process, LMO ( labour market opinion letter) and apply for a work permit with a different employer.

If your family can support you until your OWP arrive , doesn't matter when this happen, go for it. Don't worry, leave your work because your are unhappy will NOT AFFECT your application. Just remember to give at least 2 weeks notice to your employee, and after you leave your work you wont be able to leave the country until your OWP arrive too.

Good luck!

Thank you!. No I didnt have any interview for OWP, but now Im in my home (Colombia), just trying figure out how to apply for my TRV if I dont have any job.
hi argy congrats!

you can apply re enrty visa in your country check their website and submit all documents. ask your friend to send you the OWP by mail or scan it first and email to you so you can start your re entry visa application.

you can also ask your previous employer to make you a job offer letter to make sure you can comeback to Canada. even if your not working with them.

I understand how you feel right now, but I'm sure your application will be fine. I'm positive you will get good news this weekend. ;)
