@ lholie: ebonyivory is right... Your maternity leave shouldn't affect your application... As long as you cOmpleted 24 mos in 48 mos, you're eligible. I know your situation is very hard, But you just gotta hang on a little bit... They don't have a choice they should give to ys our working permits and pr, who knows when it is gonna be but we just gotta hang on and keep

thanks berry...my patience and faith is getting weaker each day...that's what i was thinking too, it should not affect right and yes i have already lodge my application within the 48 mos required prior to my maternity leave...so now, i don't really understand what's all the delays...it's the waiting game that is really killing me, not knowing when it will happen...i really really really hope it would be soon already..thanks again!!

Im sorry but i dont know the exact meaning of this Abbreviation but ECAS is Canada's automatic online application tracker. you can see your application updates on it. hope my reply helps you somehow.

no owp yet. maybe because i submitted by application for open work permit a month later after my permanent resident application. i also applied for a work permit extension before it expire so i'm assuming that's why they didn't ask for my client updates.

Tomorrow my kids school board will call me whether i got WP its so frustrating every at the end of mons i have to inform them w/ no results i hope next mons i hear a good new from CIC.

@ trisah sorry i have no idea w/spouse but he might get open work permit based on your permit. When i had an interview for LCP at seattle in 2007, the IO was willing to give my spouse permit eventhough we were separated i dont know its bcoz i had kids here in Canada told him he would not come.

I can't see my process on ecas since march, there's someone here in the same situation too?

Hi Strikenannies, I have the same problem as you, my ecas only showed up for one month and then I can't find it any more.
my friends said it's normal they didn't care, but I am worried very much.

@yin888 At least now we know that it's just something with CIC, I dont think that it's a problem with our application...Maybe will start show something when they start to work on it.
