Live-in caregiver PR applicants for April,May and June timeline

I just applied for a wp even my last one had expired last April. I called Cic and I asked if I could renew it because I'm with no health care. They told me to apply and explain my situation. They told me to send the copy of contract, letter from my employer, fee paid, copy from passport and last wp. I asked for LMO letter and they said that wasn't necessary.

I applied in the first week of September. Wait for OWP and PR will take longe than I expected so I decide to apply.

Hi AgiHun, I noticed a while ago we had the same timeline, You will get your OWP this coming week, I got mine Oct 30 but the weird think on my situation is that my information is no longer available on internet. I don't know if this is good or bad, but at least I got the OWP. Hopefully I get my PR soon. good luck to u too.

It's free anyway so why don't you renew it? You'd be there for less than 30 minutes and you'll have an up to date SIN.

hi guys, i need advise about renewing my SIN card number. this is the situation, my SIN is already expired last july 2011,i received my OWP last week, do i need to renew my SIN now or wait for my landing interview before i renew it coz i know that once we get our PR our SIN number will be changed.

hope for an advise. anyone have the same situation as mine?

Hi All. I got a letter from CIC today. They are asking me for medical and background check. It is confusing because the letter says that me and my family memebers, I am single applicant with no dependants. Also they are saying if I change my personal information like marriage I will have to let them know ASAP, I already mailed my information saying that I got married with a Canadian PR. Anyways I will have to do anything they ask. right? My information is no longer on internet. I guess they are going to wait for these information to post againg my ecas.
Does anybody got a letter like mine??

did you inform CIC when you change your status from single to married by mail or email? if your husband is still in PR and not yet a canadian citizen maybe thats why they still need information from your husband. its a case to case basis. can you send us the format of your letter? im also married to canadian born citizen.

i got a txt msge from a friend this morning, that my fellow caregiver here in toronto who mailed her application last april2010, reciv by june 2010,
got her owp last aug. and been interviewed for pr last month sept...

Hi, Bbjgliz. Did you have any problems with your medical check-up when you were just getting ready to get into the LIC program? I mean, did you have to have some additional tests in your country and then here, in Canada? If you don't feel free saying about it here, you can PM me. Thanks.
