I recieved a letter today too after i got my OWP yesterday,but in my letter it doesnt have any interview date yet. it just saID THAT I HAVE MEET THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR PERMANENT STATUS AS A MEMBER OF lic CLASS. WONDERING IF EMILYCC OR MONALIZY RECEIVED THIS LETTER TOO. THANKS GUYS. i CALLED cic AND THEY SAID ITS JUST A GENERIC LETTER, BUT i STILL WANNA MAKE SURE. THANKS GUYS.

hi Khrizzy, I called cic today after read Monalizy's information, I have been told that they sent one letter to me which is my OWP, the whole PR application of mine was approved, I will be contacted again by next 3 months for the landing interview. They will send me another letter later about that.

My TRV was expired on May 2011, and now I have a valid Work Permit (till May 16th 2012)
I have to sent my paper for TRV to Seattle (because I live in AB). I don't know which application I have to send to Canadian Consulate (I thinl it is IMM 5257, but I am not sure)
Could you please help me with advise? Have I sent application for TRV online or just by mail?

Hi Everyone, im in a big problem now because Immigration sent me a letter stating that i entered here canada last june 28, 2008 and they received my application for PR and open work permit last April 27,2010 and i need to submit a letter regarding to this matter. It was my mistake that i submit my application too early while im still working at my employer. And i finished 3years working with them......what will i do now???? pls. someone help me ???

@palusa where do you live?i suggest you go to cic website and check if there's a lcp association in your area. they will give you free advice. they will even act as representative on your behalf. why would cic let you wait 16mos before sending you d letter?anyways,please let me know what happen.
