Hello! I have just completed the required 24 months employment as a live-in caregiver and I was about to submit my application for PR when an acquaintance told me that I could also submit at the same time the application for my children who are living outside Canada. Is this correct? I had thought that I am to apply first and be approved for PR before I could I apply for my children. But if of course this true it would be even better if I could submit application for my children at the same time. I just want to make sure this is correct before I do anything. Please if anyone could enlighten me about this. Thank you and advance HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!

Yes you can apply for children and your husband at the same time with yours.

You are applying for PR with your family.

Applicants must list all family members in Canada and abroad, and indicate which ones they wish
to have processed concurrently for permanent residence.
Applicants submit the completed forms with fee receipts and all required supporting documents to
CPC-V.
