Hi guys,
I've been looking online through the huge amount of information on the live-in caregiver program. There's so much of it, that it's actually (for me at least!) completely unclear about the process of going from having found a person to employ, to filling in the various applications, fulfilling the advertising requirements etc, and finally getting the work permit processed.
Basically, we don't really know where to begin with applying for a caregiver visa. Our person has the relevant experience needed to be eligible, a reference from her employer confirming this, and the necessary linguistic ability. Now, what is next? How do we go about showing we've looked for a Canadian Citizen/PR for the position, and from there getting an LMO, and after that getting a visa processed? It's all seriously confusing! Any help or a link to a simplified guide would be great
Thanks!
