did they ask for the Police clearances, because I went to Taiwan for almost 3 years from 2001-2004, do I need to get a police clearance to show to them with my applications? Thank you.

Yes, u have to! Even if it is long time ago alraedy if declared it in your paper u have o get one. :) :)
 
Thanks to both of you, now I am just waiting for the others to post their VISA timelines acquired in the Philippines. Then Ill proceed from here.
