Hello, I had in my IELTS, L-7.0, S-7.5, W-6.5, R-5.5, I had the intention of migrating to Canada through express entry program but was discouraged because of my IELTS result not until someone advised me to go through the Live-in caregiver Canada program in Alberta since I am a Registerd Nurse in my country. Please I need advice on it either through PNP, live in care giver or another immigration program that would enable me migrate soon to Canada as I'm about making payment for my application fee for the live in care giver program . Need a response ASAP.

Have you worked in Canada as a caregiver? You need to work in Canada as a caregiver for 2 years full time before you can qualify to apply through that immigration stream.

Thank you for your swift response. I have 2 years plus working experience in my country as a care giver. But, can my results fetch me any Canada immigration program as I have written it twice and going down the IELTS road again is a closed option for me. I am seriously searching for an immigration program for Canada with my result. Thanks

For the caregiver stream - the work experience must be in Canada. So that's not an option unless you come to Canada and work here for 2 years full time first.

Given your IELTS score, FSW / Express Entry is not an option. You should really consider writing IELTS again to increase your reading score.

Also recommend you spend time researching the Provincial Nominee Programs to see if you meet the requirements of one of these streams. Unfortunately there's really no short-cut to spending quite a bit of time researching yourself to understand your options. If you really don't have time to complete this research or want to apply asap - then you should hire an immigration lawyer to assist you.

Good luck.

Thank you so much for your advice. However, you made mention of PNP, can you assist me in enlisting the various PNPs so I could go through myself, please kindly give me PNP links that might suit my result so I could start applying for any of them. I'm a newbie. Thank you

Links to the provincial programs can be found on the page below. I can't tell you which programs may suit you - this is research you will have to do yourself (or hire a lawyer).
