Little question regarding my study permit

Hi, I hope anyone here can help me.

I'm a spanish international student with a Study Permit that expires May 4th 2010. I've been studying here in Canada for more than 6 months.

I finish my studies on April 29th, but my idea was to do some tourism until the third week of May and then immediately go back to my home country, Spain.

Do I need to renew my permit? Those three weeks I wouldn't be a student anymore, I would be just a tourist.
