listing the gold jewellery

hi.
as suggested I have taken the pictures of the jewellery to carry with me and being followed later. There is one question regarding it.....what if want to change the design of any of the piece that i have shown and listed? keeping the weight same, what if at any later stage i change the design of of the piece and let that piece follow later ? and also....what if i change the colour of the stones fitted in gold jewellery. In asia, its pretty common to change the designs of the jewellery!!please suggest!!

It'd then be a "new" jewelry, not listed, and u'd pay duty.
It's another matter that they may condone it, or not notice it, if u were sporting it on person.

What about if you trave and bring some jewelry for your own use. Would you still have to pay duty??

as far as i know...no you dont pay the duty on stuff for personal use and if ur an immigrant then u must list ur jewellery as advised
