Hey,

Just looking for some advice here. So I'm very close to finishing my application for immigration under the CEC and I have a question..... Should I list my mother who I might be sponsoring in a couple of years to immigrate to Canada in the generic application form?

In the instruction guide it says that you have to list any dependents who you would be sponsoring at a later time. So should I include my mother in the application?

Any help would be appreciated.

No - your parents are not dependents. So do not list your mother.

Your dependents would be your spouse (if you have one) or your children (if you have any).

Hi, As scylla correctly pointed out, do not include your mother's name in the dependent list. As she is not your dependent. But do mention her in Additional Family information IMM 5406 E.
