Hi. I am post-secondary graduate (studied and graduated in Canada). I was wondering if there is a link to a list of jobs that are accepted for Permanent Residence Application?

Also does Retail Salesperson and Administrative Assistant count?

For CEC, the occupation must be skill level O, A, or B in the NOC classification -
http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2006/html/Matrix.html

For administrative assistant, probably not -
http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2006/ViewAllTitlesKeyword.aspx?val=1&val1=1411&val11=administrative+assistant&val12=0&val13=0&val14=&val15=0&val16=0

if the correct NOC is 14xx then no; if it is 12xx, then yes.
http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2006/SearchKeywordResult.aspx?val11=administrative&val12=0&val13=0&val14=&val15=0&val16=0

As for retail sales, no -
http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2006/ProfileKeyword.aspx?val=6&val1=6421&val11=retail+sales&val12=0&val13=0&val14=&val15=0&val16=0

Secretary is category B which does qualify. Look it up in the Labour Market Information jes_ON gave you the link for to get a detailed job description and list of duties. Your work experience would need to meet the MAJORITY of those duties to qualify.

Thank you for the information.

I have another question because I am a little confused.

On this list here:

cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#list

it shows that the "Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management" cap has been reached. Does that mean I Cannot apply for PR with a job in a business related field or does it not count because I graduated in Canada?

Sorry about the link. I cannot seem to hyperlink websites here. :(

That is for the Federal Skilled Workers class of applicants. You are writing in the Canadian Experience Class of applicants; that "cap" does not apply to CEC applicants.
