Hey All,

I am little confused because of the comments I received in my last post so thought of clearing it in this post...

Below are the documents I am planning to submit with my application:

1. Forms (IMM0008, IMM5669, IMM5562, IMM0008, IMM5406) - Original
2. Passport, student permit and work permit - copy
3. IELTS results - Original
4. Job reference letter - Original.
5. T4 and Notice of assessment- Copy
6. All the paystubs - Copy
7. RCMP - Original
8. 6 Photos
9. $550 draft - Original
10. Transcript and marksheet from Canadian college - Copy
11. Birth Certificate - copy

12. PCC - May be

Please feel free to tell me if anything in the list is missing or anything that should not be there... ?

I apologize if this Question has been asked before, I just want to be 100% certain to avoid making a mistake (I hope you understand).

Thank you in advance.

To avoid mistakes, you need to refer to the CIC website. I'm assuming at this point you have reviewed the application guide, documents checklist and all the relevant forms.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5610E.pdf - link to the documents checklist.

If you have a specific question having reviewed the checklist, let me know and I'll be happy to help.

I remember telling you in another thread that you don't need mark sheets and pay stubs. Also u can submit xerox of reference letters if they lost ur originals then they may en up asking for copy again. Check the check list

Thank you for the quick reply...

JSM0085: I did review the checklist and the things I am submitting are form that check list... however I just wanted a confirmation from the senior members... Did you get a chance to review my document list?

gladaki: Thank you for your reply on the other post and this post too.. I had some confusion on the previous post so thought of posting another post with list of documents to submit/not submit and get a confirmation...

it's not but my Fiancee applied her PR from a consultant and the consultant had her attach 10,12, degree, Canadian college mark sheet and graduation letter with her application. So I was just wondering if that is required or optional

You need to submit the completed documents checklist with your application - so use it. Don't worry about what others think, CIC is giving it to you on a plate here.

Provide what is requested from CIC.

She applied at a different time, with different requirements.

Provide what is requested on the checklist and you will be fine.

Don't know your circumstances, review the civil status documents and see if there are any others you should submit -

Thank you very much for the reply.. is it okey if I send extra document rather than sending less documents?

I mean I know that RCMP is required for now but they ask for it in 80% of the cases so why not send it with the application and save some processing time?

Stop doing this..people told u what to do or what not do do..why wasting urs and other time ...they will ask for it when they need it, even if u send it now they may ask again

I'm not sure why you're mixing the requirements of Canadian Experience Class with the requirements of other immigration services. I mean, RCMP and academic transcripts? What?

Sure, if you like to annoy the Visa Officer.

That is simply not true. But if you want to waste your money, go right ahead. In the absence of a direct request from CIC, I would only recommend sending an RCMP clearance if (a) you have a common name (like John Smith or your cultural equivalent) AND (b) you were planning to leave Canada and going to some place where it would be difficult to accomplish if the request did come.
