Linking of paper application with online account

i applied on 20th june..
and still they cant find my application !!

I think you should link all seperately as yours is sp and i hope your wife would be having different application no. so its seperate.

I think there is still some mistake you are doing follow the complete exact steps i mentioned and you ll be able to link it.
if there is any error or confusion ask me.

@paras arora - actually i left the space where family name should be written because there is no surname on my passport too..
that is why my application cannot be linked !! :-X

Me (study permit) & spouse (OPW) applied together @ VFS Bangalore,(paper based application on June 11th) & I linked my study permit to online & it shows MEDICALS passed...but I am unable to link my spouse (OPW) to online..

1) Are u able to link spouse OWP & kids trv to ONLINE??

I tried to link my spouse application to my account but it doesn't work & also I created separate CIC account for him & I tried to link to link application but in both scenarios it says that system doesn't find my spouse application.

Is there any way to link my spouse (OPW) application to online? Can u pls advise..

Same problem as yours..family name blank in passport.
Error - all mandatory fields are required.

I think when you link it to a new account then you ll not get any updates on your old account then though i am not sure about this.

Try to write your name in your surname or like you have filled your visa form what did you write in your surname ?
i think it should be your name in the surname too.

No I haven't still tried to link my spouse n kids application online...
As application is linked thru main applicant surname , Passprt etc... And not tracking/application no......so,,,,,
I think I will wait to get decision for my application as I m the main applicant...and hope ,may be all will be processed together .
When u applied? From where?

and i applied since April 18th via paper from Nigeria

Hi Docsazm,

we applied together (study permit) myself & spouse (open work permit) on 11th June,2016 @ Bangalore VFS (paper based application) & I linked my (study permit) paper based application to online to check status. (I am unable to link my spouse open work permit application to online,as it says application not found in the system)

MEDICALS passed:- 6th July,2016 (got an email on 6th July from CIC that medicals passed)

But here is question whose medicals got passed me (or) my spouse (or) both ???

Which VFS & when did u apply docsazm??

Did u get any update on medicals??

.I guess they will take it as a whole...as applied together in the same envelop.
For me, still Medicals not required at this stage....

But, there is no any cic account messages. Will there be any delay in receiving message.
